Yes, as long as you don't get caught. Seriously though, it's legal. Just follow the instructions in the book.

How much do the engines cost?
Engines are cheap, they only cost about $10 to make.

How much does the completed skateboard cost?
It depends on how many tools and parts you have laying around the house and how many you need to buy. I bought all the parts and already had most of the tools. Each skateboard I built cost right under $300.

Do you have to be 18 to order the book?
No, anyone regardless of age can order the book.

Do you have to be 18 to ride the skateboard?
No, anyone regardless of age can ride the skateboard.

How fast does it go?
That depends on the riders weight. Riders that weigh less will go much faster but even riders over 250 pounds will go fast.

How long does the engine last?
The engines are single use engines. You throw them away when you are done with them. Each engine lasts for 9.5 seconds and puts out 22 pounds of thrust.
